Hey there 👋 I’m Aidan, a digital producer from Lakemba in south-west Sydney. I started out as a journalist and video producer, and since then I’ve worked across mental health content, online communities, product operations and data analysis, and digital products. I tend to enjoy work where I can get to grips with a messy problem, learn what people need and make something useful. Here are a few projects that show what I’ve been up to.
FirstAidBench: a mental health safety evaluation for AI models
An independent research project exploring how well current AI models recognise and respond to mental health risk when it appears inside otherwise ordinary tasks. I designed the evaluation, ran and analysed the tests, built the site, and made the video above to explain the problem and what I found.
